As followers of Jesus Christ at IPC, we are committed to demonstrating love, justice, and compassion as we serve one another. These values are at the core of IPC, shaping us into a family of faith that aims to make a positive impact in the world.
The IPC Foundation shares similar values, seeking to identify and respond to critical needs at home and around the world. Funding global mission journeys is one way we create a lasting impact in the lives of those we serve.
Joining God’s Work in the World
IPC mission teams in 2023 journeyed to Chiapas, Mexico; Kigali, Rwanda; and Mawandi, Zambia. Earlier this year, I also had the opportunity to travel to Forman Christian College located in Lahore, Pakistan. The college is known for educating people of different faiths including Christians, Muslims, in the world's second-largest Muslim nation. Friends of Forman College, a grant recipient, raises funds for the college to support Christian students who come from the poorest levels of Pakistan's society. About 80% of these students require scholarships to attend the college. My trip to Pakistan was an incredible experience. I visited a Christian family's home and witnessed first-hand the fear and oppression they face due to religious persecution.
Also this year, mission teams from IPC have already returned to Chiapas and served the Dominican Republic for the first time. A team is currently in Nairobi, Kenya, and another will journey to Mwandi in August.
