Grow in faith and fellowship this fall by joining a Grace Group at IPC. October 12 through November 16, small groups will meet for six weeks to study "Matthew: The Gospel of Promised Blessings" by Matthew L. Skinner. Each Grace Group is led by members of IPC and meets at various times and locations, so you can find a group that’s a good fit for you. All groups follow the same study and offer a welcoming space to explore scripture in community, reminding us that faith is something we’re meant to grow in together. Registration opens Sunday, September 21. Reserve a spot online or sign up in the Parlor. Registration form coming soon!

You are warmly invited to join us this fall for an evening of food and fellowship at the home of Merrill Stewart. We’ll share a meal, enjoy one another’s stories, and learn how the IPC Now & Forever Endowment Campaign is helping our church thrive today and for generations to come. We’ll also hear more about how this campaign strengthens the future of our beloved church by providing lasting resources for worship, service, and mission in the years ahead. We hope you will join us for this meaningful evening together. To learn more and find ways to participate, visit ipcforever.org.
Please submit your RSVP by Thursday, October 9.

You're invited to an IPC Foundation Lunch and Learn on Wednesday, October 15, at 11:30 am with Rev. Dr. Roger Dermody, the Executive Director of Friends of Forman Christian College. Lunch ($10) will be served in Great Hall Dining Room 1. Please make a reservation below so we can have an accurate lunch headcount. The deadline to register is Monday, October 13. If you have any questions, contact Margaret Lane Hollingsworth at mhollingsworth@ipc-usa.org.

Fall River Fest at Living River is a full, meaningful day-long gathering open to any and everyone! It's a great opportunity for first-time visitors and longtime friends of Living River to enjoy the property, fellowship with others, and learn something new. Fall River Fest usually features environmental partners, recreational opportunities, a keynote speaker, and great food!

Kick off our annual Harvest for Hunger campaign with a family-friendly Crop Drop! All ages 5 and up are invited to help sack sweet potatoes for our neighbors experiencing food insecurity. This event is open to everyone, and we need 100 volunteers along with 15 team leaders to make it a success. Childcare will be available for children up to age 4 with registration.

Be Tutor at Stair 3.0

Each week, IPC volunteer tutors meet one-on-one with 3rd-graders at Hayes K-8 to help them build confidence and improve their literacy skills. The fall term runs from September 23 to December 17, and volunteers are needed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 3:15 - 4:15 p.m. A scripted, easy-to-follow curriculum is provided, and a background in education is not needed to volunteer. Please reach out to Marion Dukes, Director of the Children's Fresh Air Farm, if you are interested in learning more or signing up.
Harvest for Hunger Campaign

Join us for IPC's Annual Harvest for Hunger campaign to help fill our neighbor's table and lift up our community. Starting Sunday, October 19, you can pick up a Harvest for Hunger grocery bag at IPC. The list of food and hygiene items (our most needed items) is printed on the bag and is also available below. Please return your filled bags by Sunday, November 23, which is Harvest for Hunger Dedication Day.

Transport Our #5 Plastics

We need volunteers to assist in transporting our #5 Plastics to Community on the Rise! Our box has been overwhelmed with plastics lately, and we need your help to keep this opportunity going! SUVs and trucks are recommended for transportation of the super sack due to its size. The #5s drop-off times at Community on the Rise are Mondays from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. Community on the Rise is located at 112 14th St. N, next to Church of the Reconciler.
