Mission Statement

The Independent Presbyterian Church Foundation encourages and receives contributions for the endowment of the Independent Presbyterian Church, invests its funds to accomplish the donor’s intentions, and seeks innovative and responsive ways in which its assets may serve Christ’s Church, the community, and the world.

Each year, the IPC Foundation awards grants for “the benefit of mankind, the education of youth, the relief of human suffering, and propagation of the Christian religion.”

Ways to Give to the IPC Foundation

The Henry M. Edmonds Society recognizes those who have named Independent Presbyterian Church Foundation as a beneficiary of a planned gift. Named in honor of founding pastor Dr. Henry M. Edmonds, the Society encourages gifts to the Foundation to support mission and ministries of the church through legacy giving.

Creating a new fund can support IPC programs and/or to enhance and extend our community ministries. Each fund is uniquely named and separately administered to ensure that donors’ wishes are honored. The minimum for establishing a new fund is $25,000.

Contributing to existing funds are truly the “gift that keeps on giving,” as donations small and large combine to create perpetual support. For, each dollar received $1.67 has already been withdrawn to support the ministries suggested by the Beesons and $2.41 remains in the Fund to generate income for future support of those ministries.

Giving beyond our lifetime is an extension of Christian stewardship available to everyone. Gifts large and small combine to expand existing ministries and create new ones in response to our changing world. Giving through the IPC Foundation enables donors to extend their stewardship beyond their lifetimes.
