Advent at IPC
Join us in worship during Advent as we walk through the first chapter of the Gospel of Luke that leads us up to the birth of the Savior which we will celebrate on Christmas Eve.

Upcoming Special Events
Christmas greetings! Please join Independent Presbyterian Church as we celebrate the season's message of hope. Along with the release of our virtual tour, we return to an in-person Holiday House Tea at IPC on Saturday, Dec. 11 from 10 am - 4 pm. Your ticket ($35) includes admission to our in-person Holiday House Tea plus a link to our virtual tour that will be emailed to you. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Elizabeth Miles at email@example.com.
K-6th graders are invited to sing with us on Christmas Eve during the Noon Nativity Service. Rehearsals are each Sunday during the 11 am worship service. Children should follow the acolyte out of the sanctuary when noted during the service and pick-up will be in the Day School Music Room/G16 at the end of the service.
Stockings are still available to fill for graduates of the Children's Fresh Air Farm's Summer Learning Program, LIFT OFF participants, and their siblings. Please remember stockings are due back Sunday, Dec. 12. They can be dropped off in Community Ministries or at the front desk. Please be sure to label your stockings with your name and the age and gender of the child you are providing a stocking for. If you have not picked up the physical stocking, they are still available at the front desk, or you can simply bring your items in a labeled bag.
Join IPC Adults to sing favorite and familiar Christmas carols in the Great Hall during the 10 am Sunday School hour. Dr. Jeff McLelland, Director of Music & Fine Arts, will play the piano.
A meeting of the Independent Presbyterian Church is hereby called for Sunday, Dec. 12, 2021, to be convened with the opening prayer at the 11 am worship service in the sanctuary. The business meeting will begin immediately following the worship service.
The purposes of the meeting are 1) To elect Elders for the class of 2024, 2) To elect Deacons for the class of 2024, 3) To elect a Youth Elder and Youth Deacon, 4) To elect a President and Vice President of the Congregation, 5) To elect members of the IPC Foundation Board of Directors, and 6) To elect members of the Representative Nominating Committee for the class of 2024.

The Annual Christmas Concert will be Sunday, Dec. 12, at 4 pm. The choir and orchestra will perform beloved works including Vivaldi’s Gloria. Invite your friends to this beautiful afternoon of music for the season.
