    Traditional Worship:
    8:45 am & 11 am (Sanctuary)
    Table Worship:
    5 pm (Highland Hall)
    Holiday Worship Schedule:
    December 1 and December 29 (10 am traditional worship in the Sanctuary; no Sunday School or Table worship service)

  • Wednedsay Chapel & Lunch

    Dec. 4, Dec. 11 & Dec. 18

    Join us at noon for worship in the chapel followed by a light lunch in the Great Hall.

Classes meet weekly at 10 am during Advent. No Sunday School on Sunday, Dec. 1 or Dec. 29.

Purple Bins at IPC

Bring your socks to the purple bins at IPC to donate to First Light Women's Shelter for the winter months! We will take all donations with us when we Christmas Carol on December 11.

Please join us for the season of Advent! During Advent, join us for a noonday Chapel Service each Wednesday (December 4, 11, and 18) followed by a light lunch in the Great Hall. The menu will be Soup and Sandwich provided by Kim's kitchen. Weekly reservation deadline is Tuesday at 12 pm.

First Light

Christmas would not be complete without a Carol Sing at First Light Women's and Children's Shelter in Downtown Birmingham. All children K-6th are welcome to join in the fun! We will have dinner at IPC after the carol sing. We will be taking a bus from IPC, but you are welcome to drive your child to First Light.

This year we celebrate the 75th Anniversary Holiday House Tour and Tea on Saturday, December 14. Join us this holiday season for tours of three stunning homes, in addition to a visit to the historic IPC Sanctuary. You can also add our Afternoon Tea option in the IPC Great Hall. Purchase tickets for yourself or as a gift online or in the Parlor on Sunday mornings.

Christmas Party and Greenery Sales

IPC Boy Scout Troop 28 is now selling Christmas greenery at the lot located at Shades Cahaba Elementary School in Homewood. All sales will benefit Troop 28 and other area Boy Scout troops, regardless of when you purchase the greenery.

Additionally, all are invited to the Troop 28 Christmas Party on Sunday, December 15 from noon - 2:00 pm in the foyer of Highland Hall — current, former, and prospective Scouts and their families are welcome!
