The Season of Giving
Help spread Christmas cheer for Children's Fresh Air Farm Summer Learning students by selecting an Angel Tree student or family! Students are grouped with siblings in the same household who also attend Hayes, so you are able to select an individual child or all children in a household. All Gifts Due: Monday, December 9. Please bring unwrapped gifts and a roll of wrapping paper to IPC, room #217 labeled with the child's name and code (e.g., Child 1a: NAME) Select an Angel online anytime or in the Parlor November 24 and December 1..
This year we celebrate the 75th Anniversary Holiday House Tour and Tea on Saturday, December 14. Join us this holiday season for tours of three stunning homes, in addition to a visit to the historic IPC Sanctuary. You can also add our Afternoon Tea option in the IPC Great Hall. Purchase tickets for yourself or as a gift online or in the Parlor on Sunday mornings.
IPC Boy Scout Troop 28 is now selling Christmas greenery at the lot located at Shades Cahaba Elementary School in Homewood. All sales will benefit Troop 28 and other area Boy Scout troops, regardless of when you purchase the greenery.
Additionally, all are invited to the Troop 28 Christmas Party on Sunday, December 15 from noon - 2:00 pm in the foyer of Highland Hall — current, former, and prospective Scouts and their families are welcome!
Through a donation to the Giving Tree, you can honor a family member, friend, or co-worker with a gift made in their name to IPC Social Services and/or the Children’s Fresh Air Farm. A donation of $10 per card is suggested but any donation is accepted to help our neighbors who are struggling with food, shelter, utilities, transportation, and medical needs. Purchase online or in the IPC Parlor on Sundays (December 8, 15, and 22).
These cookbooks were crafted from recipes submitted by the IPC congregation! We hope you enjoy good food with good people gathered around the table. For your convenience, gift-wrapped cookbooks can be picked up or purchased at the reception desk during the week, in addition to online and Sunday sales in the parlor. Each cookbook is $25, and the proceeds help support scholarships for IPC Youth trips and retreats.
