IPC Pastor Search Members

Members

The PNC began its search for a new Pastor/Head of Staff on behalf of the congregation in August of 2019.  Since beginning our search, the PNC has elected The Honorable Teresa Pulliam as its chair and has obtained approval of IPC’s Ministry Information Form (MIF) from the Session and the presbytery, permitting the MIF to be published on the PCUSA website and allowing the PNC to begin receiving candidate interest.

As part of its process, the PNC will provide future updates to the congregation through the “updates” link.  We have also included several links below which explain further what to expect from the process and information related to the PNC’s efforts.

Most importantly, the PNC welcomes your thoughts, prayers, and feedback.  While the PNC’s work must be confidential, we invite you to send us your thoughts, comments, and prayers through the following e-mail address: ipcpastorsearch20@gmail.com.

We appreciate the confidence you have placed in the PNC and thank you in advance for your prayers and support.

  • The Church Leadership Connection System has been revised with new forms and user friendly changes. The new Ministry Information Form affirms our theology that honors “openness to the sovereign activity of God in the Church, to a more radical obedience to Christ, and to a more joyous celebration in worship and work” (F.1.0404).

  • A resource for pastor nominating committees and mid councils, prepared by Church Leadership Connection and the Office of the General Assembly.

  • IPC’s announcement of its pastor search as distributed to select seminaries and Christian publications.

  • The PNC's initial communication to the congregation about its search.
