IPC members have the opportunity to volunteer with the Society of St. Andrew (SoSA) Alabama Gleaning Network at the Pepper Place Farmers' Market on June 8, June 22, and July 20. At least six volunteers are needed each date from 11 am to 1 pm to gather, weigh, and organize leftover produce from the farmers. This is a family-friendly volunteer opportunity to help reduce food waste while providing for our neighbors in need.
