Last Sunday, October 28, was an exciting day in the life of IPC as we heard the final report from our Associate Pastor Nominating Committee and acted on their motion to elect a new Associate Pastor for Discipleship.
Our new Associate Pastor, Rev. Nicole Newton, will join us for her first Sunday on December 8.
“The Associate Pastor Nominating Committee (APNC) is excited to bring Nicole to IPC,” said J Houston Cook, APNC Chair. “She is a very active theology learner and is working on a Doctor of Ministry degree at Wake Forest. She has a very warm and approachable personality with good organizational and communication skills. Her skills are a great match for our needs in Discipleship, young adults, and new members.”
