As I am getting settled back into the swing of things here, I’m learning about many of the things that happened at the church while I was away on sabbatical. One of them was that Maegan McRoberts, our Director of Catechesis at IPC, has stepped down to pursue other career opportunities. We are so grateful for her leadership and commitment to our children these last few years as our Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program has thrived. Thank you, Maegan! 

As a result of Maegan’s departure, Sarah Scruggs has been promoted to Assistant Director of Children’s Ministries. Part of her responsibility will be leading the Catechesis program. Sarah has done a marvelous job at IPC initially as our Community Ministries Coordinator and then more recently as our Children’s and Family Ministries Coordinator. We are all very excited to have her in this new role where I know she will help our children’s ministry continue to thrive at IPC. Congratulations Sarah!!
