Here at IPC, we invite you to come to the table to worship, to learn and to serve. This Wednesday, September 5, we will come to the table to hear the latest news about ministry and mission at IPC. Our annual town hall is appropriately titled, “Come to the Table.” We will begin by gathering around tables in the Great Hall at 5:30 pm for heavy hors d’oeuvres then heading over to Highland Hall together to watch a video presentation at 6:30 pm introducing you to our newest ministries and programs. There is so much ministry going on around us from a new strategic plan for the Children’s Fresh Air Farm to the launching of our mild to moderate memory loss program called Recess to an upcoming church opera. It’s too much information to fit into an eUpdate, so I urge you to make plans to join us. 

This Sunday, IPC member Linda Nelson will lead a special combined adult Sunday school discussion about the life of IPC Founding Pastor Dr. Henry M. Edmonds in Highland Hall at 10 am. His life of ministry was truly remarkable and inspiring. Please join us! However, if you are out of town this holiday weekend, you can now also watch our morning worship services at 8:45 and 11 am through our Facebook page. In addition to live streaming on YouTube, we are now also streaming it on the social media app.

Finally, by now you should have received the email from Rev. Elizabeth Goodrich about her decision to leave IPC at the end of October to spend more time with her children. We are very thankful for her four years of ministry and leading Christian Education. Please take a moment to wish her well in the coming weeks!
