Our Holiday House Tour begins Saturday, Dec. 11. Your ticket ($35) includes admission to our in-person Holiday House Tea to be held at IPC from 10 am to 4 pm plus a link to our virtual tour to be sent to ticket purchasers.

Through our virtual tour you will be invited inside homes uniquely decorated for the holidays from the comfort of your home, as you help us raise money for ministries supporting programs of IPC Community Ministries that directly support women and children. You may view the link as many times as you would like through the end of December.

A Look Back at Previous Tours

Net proceeds of ticket sales support the following IPC Community Ministries:

  • Since 1923, Independent Presbyterian Church has operated the Children’s Fresh Air Farm to promote hope and opportunity through partnerships with children, families, and the community by offering quality programming rooted in the love of Christ. Nearly 100 years later, we continue to minister to children from Birmingham through the Christian-focused education.

  • The downtown shelter works with homeless women and their children to help them find hope, to seek opportunity, and to grow spiritually, thereby achieving their full potential. IPC volunteers provide and serve dinners.

  • IPC offers financial assistance, food, and support to local families in need. Food and hygiene essentials are offered through our Blessing Boxes, and IPC is also helping to keep families in their homes with running water and electricity through the utility assistance program.

  • The STAIR (Start the Adventure in Reading) works with Birmingham City Schools to identify first and second graders who are reading below grade level. Volunteer tutors work with these students one-on-one to improve reading skills and self-esteem.
