Join the Global Ministries team for a hands-on immersion in Alabama's Black Belt, centered in Newbern, home to the Auburn University Rural Studio. Since 1993, Rural Studio has partnered with Hale County communities to design and build homes and public projects that address real needs in one of the state's most historically significant and under-resourced regions. Our trip will include a service project alongside Rural Studio, along with visits to sites central to the area's civil rights and cultural history.
