New Children’s Bibles in the Sanctuary

Starting this Sunday, January 11, you’ll notice two new children’s Bibles available in the pew racks throughout the Sanctuary. These Bibles have been selected to help our youngest worshippers more fully engage in our worship services.

Children’s Ministry has been working in collaboration with the Worship Committee and the Children’s Subcommittee to thoughtfully choose resources that support children as they learn the rhythms of worship and grow in their understanding of God’s Word. Our Family Ministries Team has now provided our kids with two different styles of Bibles to use each week as they grow in faith and understanding.

Growing in God’s Love: A Story Bible

This beautifully illustrated storybook Bible features 150 beloved Bible stories designed especially for young listeners and readers. Thoughtful prompts with each story guide children to listen closely to God’s Word, see themselves within the story, and explore meaningful ways to respond in their daily lives. Ideal for preschoolers and early elementary children, this Bible is a joy for readers of all ages to share together.

Deep Blue Bible (Common English Bible)

The Deep Blue Bible invites curious young minds to explore Scripture through engaging notes, short devotionals, Bible trivia, and interactive features. Using the clear and modern Common English Bible translation, it offers a thoughtful balance of accuracy and approachable language. While especially accessible for children and youth, this Bible is engaging and meaningful for readers of all ages.

We invite families to make use of these Bibles during worship and look forward to seeing children engage Scripture alongside the congregation.
