World Communion Sunday takes place on the first Sunday of October each year, and this year, children in 1st through 6th grade will stay in the Atrium for extra time of exploration before joining their parents for communion during the 11 am worship services. For the Sanctuary service Catechists will bring the children into the Sanctuary at the Doxology, line up with them in the side aisle, and help to quietly find families during the offertory anthem. Parents, please sit on the pulpit/parlor side of the Sanctuary along the outside aisle, if possible. For the Table service Catechists will walk children into the Assembly Hall to either find their families or a seat at the children’s worship stations.
