Take the advice of infomercial hosts—Don’t wait…. Act now! Time is running out to sign up for several fun fellowship opportunities in the next few days. There are also just a few days to make plans to join us for the congregational picnic this upcoming Wednesday, June 26 at the Children’s Fresh Air Farm. Jane and I will be there and hope to see many more IPC members!  I wrote about the event in last week’s eUpdate. I encourage you to participate in it. The picnic will be an opportunities for fun, fellowship and exploration. It will offer our members a chance to explore the gardens, trails, playground and other areas of the Farm. You will find RSVP links and more information further down in this eUpdate

Time… and more importantly, your time for the church is particularly important this Sunday. We will have a congregational meeting convening with opening prayer during the 11 service. At the end of the service, the Congregation will elect a Pastor Nominating Committee to start searching for a new senior pastor to succeed me since I will be retiring at the end of August 2020. We will also continue our listening sessions on the IPC marriage policy following early morning worship services and The Table worship at 5 pm. After this weekend, we will only have more Sunday with listening sessions.
