Let Blessings Overflow

Let Blessings Overflow

What are you thankful for? How are you giving thanks to God for your many blessings? We are blessed with bountiful tables and full stomachs. But many of our neighbors struggle to put food on their table every day. Our food pantry helps 25- 30 families a week. We’d love to help feed more. But that requires additional food. Did you know each family receives about 25 items at each visit? That’s hundreds of items a week. Our pantry relies entirely on food donations and the generosity of our members and Pantry Partners. Our Harvest for Hunger Food Drive ends Sunday. Our youth will be outside following the 8:45 am service and before the 11 am service to help you carry in donations. Please be generous and let our food pantry and blessings overflow!

Another way to help the IPC Food Pantry, as well as Community Ministries and our reading tutoring program, STAIR, is by supporting Holiday House. All proceeds from the tour will go to those ministries. You will notice decorations going up around the church and in four homes next week in preparation for the doors to the 69th Annual Holiday House Tour opening December 8- 9. Volunteers are still needed to serve as hostesses in the homes, help park cars, bake cookies for the tea in the Great Hall, and help purchase tea sandwiches. You’ll hear more about this wonderful event during the morning worship services Sunday. There will also be a chance to purchase tickets for $30 each in the parlor. You can find more information about online tickets and volunteer opportunities further down in this email.

See you Sunday,
