Volunteers can commit as little as 1 Sunday a semester or more often as desired. Training sessions can be arranged on an individual basis.

Atrium Crafts Person: We are always looking for volunteers to help us build our handmade lessons for the Level I and Level II atria. If you enjoy woodworking, sewing, needlework, painting, calligraphy, or making clay figures, we would love to talk to you about helping us make some of our lesson materials or helping us with simple repairs. Projects range from simple painting and copying Scripture, to painting more detailed figures and woodworking projects. All levels of experience are welcome!

Trained Catechist: We are always looking for volunteers who would like to become certified catechists (teachers) in the Level I and II atria. Catechists work with the children on Sunday morning one-on-one (Level I) or in small groups (Level II) sharing God’s word, learning of His great love for us, and learning about how we worship. Level I catechists work with the 3-6 year-old children and Level II catechists work with 6-9 year-old children. The training course for Level I is 80 hours and offered at different times of the year in different scheduling formats (e.g., weekday, weekend, summer intensive).
