Fifth Grade/Sixth Grade - Small Groups
The focus of our small groups is having fun in fellowship and devotion, and building community with your peers. The goal is for them to feel comfortable with each other as they transition into the IPC Youth Group as 7th graders. Because IPC draws children from many schools, the transition to Youth Group will be smoother if they know each other well beforehand.
WORSHIP CARE (TWO TO FIVE-YEAR-OLDS)
Worship Care for two-year-olds – five-year-olds will be in G25 (the Nursery) and the children will be supervised by the nursery staff. Your child can go directly to this room before the service or will be escorted there if they follow the acolyte out of the sanctuary during the singing of the second hymn. If you are staying for Sunday school you can go directly to your Sunday school class and someone from the Nursery staff will escort your child to his/her appropriate Sunday school class.
11:00 Worship Service
Room G08 – three – five year old room
The children will be supervised by parent volunteers during the 11:00 Worship Service. Your child can go directly to this room before the service begins or follow the acolyte out of the sanctuary during the singing of the second hymn. If he/she is in Sunday school and is not attending the Worship Service with you, they will be escorted to the appropriate Worship Care room. In Worship Care your child will hear a Bible story and color a picture associated with the story. They will have time to play and will also be provided a snack.
