15th Annual Giving Tree
A mission of Independent Presbyterian Church's Hunger Work Group...encouraging gift-giving that reflects the true spirit of the Christmas season. Make a donation to any or all of the charities listed below in honor of friends or loved ones.
To save you time and assist with your decisions, you can download the above form, complete it, and have your check ready when you come to the Giving Tree Table at any of the times listed below. You'll be able to collect your cards then. (NOTE: You only need to write ONE CHECK -- payable to IPC-- in the amount of your total donation, no matter if you are making donations to just one charity or to all eight!!)
Children's Fresh Air Farm
Gifts for CFAF will be used to fund the Christmas Box ministry
to benefit the families of the Farm's most impoverished campers.
IPC Food Pantry -- Hunger Ministries
Gifts help provide food for a family of four for one week.
Mwandi School Scholarships
Gifts provide school tuition for children in Mwandi, Zambia.
Heifer Project International
Gifts help impoverished families become self-reliant by providing
them with food-and-income-producing animals and training.

homes in the Greater Birmingham area.
First Light Shelter
Gifts help provide a nurturing and safe community in
downtown Birmingham for homeless women, their children and others at risk.
S.T.A.I.R. (Start The Adventure In Reading)
Gifts are used to support a reading and tutoring program
for second grade students from Birmingham City Schools.
